Liberation Botany (A Poetic Oratory)

  • Swale Nolan House 15 Governors Island New York, NY 11231 United States (map)

What rises as it falls? Nature! This lecture by poet-writer Charity Coleman will consider natural acts of resistance, the discovery-language of colonial pillagers, and how a land became other lands as a result of brute folly. Liberation Botany is talking toward listening, asking us to tune into the poetic testimony of natural reinvention.

Charity Coleman is a Brooklyn-based writer.

This event will take place in Christy Gast's Heart of Goldenrod work room on the 2nd floor.
